Search Queries
Names or locations entered in a search tool are sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
A message sent by email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. It is not shared outside our organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server and analytics logs may collect technical information when a page loads:

- Pages viewed and approximate visit length
- Referring website, when available

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not build, keep, or sell a database of personal Holt County criminal records. The resource describes how to approach the Holt County Sheriff, County Court, District Court, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Links may lead to Holt County offices, Nebraska court portals, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor leaves, the destination’s policy governs the visit and any submitted information.
Some advertising services may measure activity across multiple websites to select advertisements. That processing occurs on their systems.

Reasonable security practices are used for information under our control. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so protection against every loss, breach, or misuse cannot be promised.

This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information known to have been provided by a minor will be removed when identified.
Your Data Rights
Nebraska Public Records Statutes, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§84-712 through 84-712.09, govern access to government records and do not turn this private resource into a county custodian. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal information held directly by us
- Ask that inaccurate personal information be corrected
- Request deletion of information that need not be retained
- Use available controls to limit certain processing
